The Toroyo Network started as an internally-used networking and management system for the Toroyo web portal. The objective was to make the Toroyo web portal user-friendly in addition to maintaining a sound infrastructure.

Toroyo went online on the 14th of November 2000, and a year after its launch, Toroyo Network was created to provide useful Internet services to businesses and individuals alike.

The Toroyo Network uses industrial strength web server equipment for performance and reliability including RedHat Linux and Sun Cobalt RaQ systems. All servers are closely monitored with failsafe measures in place in case a situation arises.

Backups of your databases and sites/emails are taken and stored in separate locations on various media. In addition, we use APC UPSs that handle any interruptions in power seamlessly.
